First Nations Cohort
First Nations Program
Culturally grounded empowerment, built with and for community.
Empowerment that respects culture and community
First Nations Empowered is co-designed and co-delivered with First Nations facilitators. Built around cultural safety, connection, purpose, community and employment outcomes, it creates a space where participants reconnect with their own strength alongside their cultural identity.
KICKS Empowered is not a First Nations-owned organisation. We work alongside First Nations facilitators and community to deliver these programs.
How the program is designed
- Built for the cohort. Designed specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants.
- Culturally appropriate. Co-designed and co-delivered with First Nations facilitators.
- Addresses cohort-specific barriers. Content responds to the barriers First Nations participants face, not a generic curriculum.
- Supports next steps. Builds toward employment, education or training.
This is cohort-specific training. It is not generic job search, résumé or interview training, and it is separate from KICKS Clinical Pathways. The funding category and price are confirmed in writing with the commissioning provider before delivery.
Authentic expression, genuine connection, and the strength that comes from doing it together.
