Our Cohorts

One Empowered framework. Multiple pathways.

KICKS Empowered is delivered across five cohorts, each tailored to the people and providers it serves and delivered through the pathway that fits. The foundation stays the same (tools not answers, mindset before skillset, growth through doing) while the delivery meets every group where it is.

Women

Many women arrive feeling unseen, unsure and disconnected from their own strength. This cohort isn’t another conversation about what’s hard. It’s a structured, experiential space that builds self-belief and resilience through authentic expression, genuine connection and real human interaction.

Youth

Young people in the employment system are often at a fork: a sense of direction and self-belief now can change the entire trajectory. This cohort gives them tools, not answers, in an experiential growth environment where they discover what they’re capable of and find identity, direction and leadership early.

Men

Men in the employment system have often had every conversation there is to have. What’s missing isn’t more talk. It’s an experience that rebuilds mental strength and a sense of direction. This cohort places men in a structured, physical environment where growth comes from doing, not talking about it.

First Nations Empowered

Co-designed and co-delivered with First Nations facilitators, built around cultural safety, connection, purpose, community and employment outcomes. It creates a space where participants reconnect with their own strength alongside their cultural identity.

KICKS Empowered is not a First Nations-owned organisation. We work alongside First Nations facilitators and community to deliver these programs.

CALD & Refugee Empowered

Adapted for language, settlement and cultural barriers. Communication is kept clear and accessible, and the experiential approach builds confidence, belonging, identity and community connection alongside wellbeing and employment readiness.

Each program is commissioned through the pathway that best fits the cohort and provider. Eligibility and funding treatment are confirmed with the commissioning provider.
